Alex
Alex is the apprentice to a master inventor in Nubrozstadt. He worked as the old man's hands to create the prototype device he carries into the wasteland. He journied to the wasteland in place of his master, in part to pay back his family for all the schooling they allowed him. He rests a little easier knowing that, even if he should not return from the wastes, his family will receive payment beyond what his schooling had cost.
